Mediasurface

Founded in 1996, Mediasurface is the leading UK provider of Enterprise Content Management software. It includes standard CMS features such as workflow, user management, multi-platform choices, localisation, search, personalisation and scalability options. But as well as these standard CMS features it also offers document management, rich media management, metadata handling, transformation services, streamed media integration and multi-channel support.

Other powerful features include the Mediasurface Knowledge Module and a rich array of content contribution interfaces. The Knowledge Module offers the ability to have the system automatically classify and summarise content, and also provides the consumer with the ability to find content more easily through thesaurus-based searching. Content Contribution Interfaces include a web based interface, Microsoft® Word, Microsoft Outlook®, VBA, XML, JAVA™, Web Services, JDBC™, Flat File, RSS News Feeds, HTTP and Morello. Morello is a an office desktop style application which offers exceptional ease-of-use.

Mediasurface has proved very successful in the local government sector. This success has been cemented with the Council Site Pack which is a 'ready to roll', flexible Local Authority online solution built from the experience of a series of successful e-service initiatives.

Digirati has been offering a range of services for the Mediasurface platform since 2002. We have delivered many implementations in that time and our depth of knowledge for this product is the second only to Mediasurface themselves. As well as Java implementations Digirati also provides services for the new ASP.Net SQLServer version of the product. We also provide a specialised support service for Mediasurface implementations that covers application support and infrastruture management.
