Central Government
Our aim at Digirati is to deliver efficient and flexible solutions that meet social and regulatory challenges and assist in the overall drive to shared services and transformational government. Within Central Government we have implemented content management solutions for the Home Office, UK Border Agency, Communities and Local Government, the Office of Communications (Ofcom) and OGCbuying.solutions, the government advisory and procurement arrangement service. The Home Office project put our rapid deployment methodology to the test by implementing 19 different public information sites within 3 months and features an information ordering system. We have also built a number of bespoke web-based applications for the Home Office including a secure extranet and an eForms application for Inspectorates to upload and analyse their report data.
Ofcom, like the Home Office, need to make their vast amount of information as easy to find and navigate to as possible. Therefore, with the help of user-led methodologies, innovative ways of making documents easily accessible were implemented for both of these solutions.
For the UK Border Agency we migrated their existing CMS to a new platform, we helped them improve their information architecture, achieve standards compliance and refresh their look and content to meet the changing focus of this organisation.
Communities and Local Government (CLG) was a large project that included a local government portal (info4local), CLG website and intranet. The project involved Content Management implementation, delivery of a bespoke personalized bulk email engine plus fully integrated forums, blogs, wikis and webchats.
A successful content management implementation means empowering the business user with the ability to publish their own content. OGCbuying.solutions benefited from our solution by not only enabling internal business users to be able to easily update their website, but also by devolving responsibility for updating supplier information to the suppliers themselves.
