Content Management Systems are excellent for implementing Regulatory Compliance across all of your content. We provide consultancy and implementation services for all compliance issues such as disability, the Freedom of Information Act and industry specific regulatory standards.

We can provide adherence to W3C WAI guidelines for disability and make sure implementations work with various assistive technologies such as JAWS and Bobby including testing with disabled users. As well as XHTML compliance we can ensure content is accessible when using JavaScript, CSS, Flash, and PDFs. These accessibility measures will also make sure your site is available to a range of devices such as cellular phones and PDAs. It will make a site easier to implement and maintain through a content management system and can be more effectively digested by external web agents such as search engine spiders.

Within government standards compliance resolves around metadata compliance using Dublin Core and IPSV. The key challenge here is making it easy to classify content effectively. We have implemented a number of tools to faciliate this including automated application of metadata using a natural language and taxonomical processing engines. The Scottish Navigation List works along similar principles and requires polyhierarchical navigation - we implemented the first live working example of this.
